This book will stay with me. How the prosperous ‘in group’ sees the marginalised and abused ‘out group’ as a disposable means to further enrich themselves. How the ‘just about managing’ cling to their position with shame, frightened that they too will become the ‘out group’ if they fail to enact the immoral orders of their employers.  How the marginalised and abused ‘out group’ use self-help in order to endure in the face of disaster. How humanity has learned so little in the last century.  Heartbreakingly relevant today.
