Am I rating an Emily Henry novel 4 instead of 5? Yes, because even I can admit, she’s not perfect.
This was a sweet and simple love story, point blank. And there lies the problem… there wasn’t anything new or original that I’ve come to expect. The side characters weren’t interesting. The plot was predictable. And the main characters lacked chemistry from time to time.
I still stand by that Emily Henry is the best contemporary romance author as of now. I was just let down by this one.
