The Almanack of Naval Ravikant: A Guide to Wealth and Happiness by Eric Jorgenson
4.0
A lot of Wisdom about Capitalism & Life
I have never heard of Naval before stumbling over this book on Goodreads. The fact that it was free and Naval seems to be a pretty successful entrepreneur hooked me.
Half of the book is about Naval’s opinion on career & money and the other half about his best practices for life in general.
Naval really figured out how capitalism works - a lot of his theories made me realize why things work like they do, something that studying economics never could. Some people may be shocked by his very capitalistic view, and sometimes, Naval has some very extreme opinions, but overall, he offers great advice.
The same applies for the part about life: there is a lot of wisdom packed in such a tiny book and he rarely misses.
I wish that more non-fiction books could transport so much information in such a short format.
