A short, meditative novel about a young man trying to survive in the post climate apocalypse as a refugee with a dog that he finds. Very meditative about the nature that remains, and his quest to find a place he and his parents were originally attempting to flee to, and the nature of death, loneliness and bonds between community, people, and dogs. Solid novel, gorgeous cover. (The dog does not die.)
