Jesus. Well, I am done with Lars Kepler. I might try the detective novels or something from the husband, I think? But definitely not this series again. First of all a dog dies... That's first strike and yes that usually makes me stop reading especially if it's graphic. And second of all, this is so damn depressing and just... Horrendous. The dead bodies don't stop, everyone dies except the main character. Who... Actually isn't all that likeable now that I think about it, but that might be because this is my first book and it's number 7.i absolutely hate that the Beaver is alive and I can't Google if they kill him, then the fact that Pellerina died. Like what the actual fuck. A child with down syndrome. I was really hoping at least she would survive. And of course the gay dies. I just detest this book. And yeah sure, things like these happen and even worse ones I suppose but I don't want to read it okey? Imma just stay with Nesbo because somehow his books are comforting despite being pretty similar to Kepler. But they're not fucking depressing. And the main character is an alcoholic. How.... I just have no words. Hate this book. Yes, I agree it's written very well, the author really makes you care about the characters and then fucking kills them... So yeah
It's a great book but that won't stop me from hating the story. Let me go read my Nesbo and Stephen King and be peaceful.
