First thought when finished: Well that was a non-stop thrill ride that I need to wrap my head around.....

What I Loved: My favorite thing about Bloodline is the team! Sigma Force is made up of many different characters that bring different things to the table. The women are just as strong as the men and in this one, it was Army Ranger Captain Tucker Wayne and his military war dog, Kane that stole the show for me. The case--what happened to the President's daughter--is quickly morphed into something bigger and more drastic. I love that James Rollins writes the case overseas and on domestic soil. What appears to be a straight-forward "let's get the bad guys" turns out to be a twisty thrill ride that kept me guessing till the end. Oh, the end scene was FANTASTIC!

What I Liked: So generally I am not a fan of personal relationships in my thrillers. I find they often get in the way but in this case they played perfectly into the story. I really found myself caring what happened to these people and their relationships! I liked all the background we were given on what the team was doing and why. It never felt like an info dump but more like a debrief. The story flowed well and the pacing was terrific.

What made me go huh?: Nothing stood in the way of me enjoying Blood Line!

Final Thought: I can't wait for the next James Rollins book to release. It is the only downside of reading these quickly!
