The Best Friend by R.L. Stine

4.0

Becka Norwood is gearing for a fun Christmas break with her friends Lilah and Trish. And she's especially excited about rekindling her relationship with ex-boyfriend Bill, who doesn't check any of the boxes for Becka's parents' approval. Trish has a Christmas party coming up with no parents around, and Becka has a silvery skirt prepped to wear over a sexy catsuit that Bill won't be able to ignore. Nothing can derail this train of teenage fun. But someone can!

Moving next door to Becka on Fear Street is her long forgotten friend Honey Perkins that no one can remember, but she sure has several memories of her and Becka. And this best friend with oversized hands is going to make sure no one comes between her and Becka as Honey pulls a Jennifer Jason Leigh from Single White Female to take over Becka's identity.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5. Fear Nerd says, "Check it out!"

I didn't remember this one being exactly memorable, but man, it had a lot going on it that I really enjoyed this go round. I found Honey to be such an interesting character, and I hope we learn more about her in the sequel that I never previously read.
