I didn't read anything else from King's crime novels before this but I didn't feel like I was missing anything and now want to go back and read about Bill Hodges.
Suitably chilling and suspenseful this had me wanting to keep coming back for what happens next especially after found out why the crazy old professors had the cell in their basement. Holly as a character was refreshing and she has some amazing friends.
