How to Make an American Quilt by Whitney Otto

4.0

We are reading this next for book club. I just finished it. It is a little hard to read because one chapter will talk about quilting and history (all symbolic for the following chapter which will deal with the story of the women in the book). I have loved this movie for a long time, and enjoyed reading the book to get more in depth with the story. It is nice to read stories where the women connect to "real life" and that we all have our weaknesses and low points in life- but that is life and being human. we just have to keep going and try our best.
