Slewfoot: A Tale of Bewitchery by Brom

slow-paced
  • Plot- or character-driven? A mix
  • Loveable characters? It's complicated
  • Flaws of characters a main focus? Yes

4.0

First quarter is some really nice atmospheric mood building; second quarter is waiting around for something to happen; third quarter is The Crucible by Arthur Miller Sort Of and the fourth quarter is the horror I was promised. I liked it enough, I just wish the pacing was a little better.
