sticky book! I loved it, and I think the ending is a million times better than the show. (I prefer reading book before adaptations, but wasn't able to) I always love the way Flynn writes her female characters and the gritty dark underbelly if the south. I also really enjoyed the way young girls were portrayed in this, the description of Amma and her friends felt more real and true to what it felt growing up in a group of girls. The beginning was a tad slow but still worth it.
