I've been waiting to read this graphic novel for a while now, excited since May of this year. But once I started reading I felt immediately disappointed. The idea is good, but the execution wasn't the best. Jordan, the main characters best friend is a caricature and embodies the "fat funny best friend". They didn't give her any personality, except for the fact that she eats so much..? If I had read this graphic novel years before I would've appreciated it. I'm definitely not the target audience for this. It felt too rushed for my taste and there is so many better books that tackle this issue better. This graphic novel isn't it.
