I loved the beginning, but once things started happening it got less captivating. This is a highly personal opnion, becaus I am not the target audience. I dislike (psychological) thrillers. It could very well be a really good book, it just isn't my genre. It gave me Hitchcock like vibe.

The ending was forcefully happy, diminishing the impact of the story as a whole. Again very personal, I have a preference for darker endings.
