A Dream Called Home by Reyna Grande

3.0

Reyna Grande has a way of making the reader experience her story/writing. Though I prefer faster paces, this book was enjoyable. Each chapter was like climbing a mountain until you reached the end, feeling victorious.

"A Dream Called Home" explores the life of Reyna Granda as she tries to settle into American life. Despite the vast changes and double-time she spends pursuing her dreams, her identity never falters. Even her complicated relationship with her parents that became her biggest challenge doesn't keep her from the dream of gaining a home and writing.

I would recommend it to anyone.
