having read the entire series, i think i still prefer the fine print. i enjoyed cal and alana's relationship, for the most part, and i loved cami and alana's relationship the most.

with that said, the other characters surrounding them made me struggle to read the entire book. cal having grown up in the town and being so public about his struggles with addiction (whether it was against his will or not), and the town being purposefully cruel to him made me so mad. pushing cal away and making him feel uncomfortable in his environment only enabled him, and then when push came to shove he was blamed again and again for falling back on his crutch when put under so much stress and anxiety.

and then to later find out about wyatt and his past, you would think he would have a little more sympathy for his, supposed, past best friend. or he would at the very least offer him encouragement/discourage the town from treating him so horribly when he knows what the result of that is.

anyway, i'm still sitting with my thoughts so maybe this will all change but here this is lol
