Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center

5.0

I LOVED this one! I’ve never listened to an audiobook before, but I think this was the PERFECT way to start! I enjoy listening to audiobooks when I’m driving, working, or going for a run. What I loved most about this audiobook was Terese Plumbers voice! She is able to articulate and change the the sound of her voice, the perfect Boston accents, & the fact that you know who is speaking when she does the different voices!
Next, the actual book, I loved the strong female character in this one. She is one of the strongest females I’ve ever read about and I just love how this story goes. She has struggled a lot in her life and when she went to the new fire department, she only has to deal with more. Throughout all the pain she has gone through in her life, she continues to forgiveness and offer love to others even when it’s hard. She learns true forgiveness, how to love again, and dealing with loss of other things. I promise if you read this book, you will not regret this! Love stories are some of my favorite and I wish I have one like this one day!
