I've been waiting for Rio's book for what feels like forever and Liz Tomforde gave him one of my favorite tropes ever!! Childhood friends to lovers to strangers to lovers hits every time!
I loved Rio and Hallie! Both as a couple but also individually. They felt well rounded and real. They're literally soulmates. The way they knew each other like the back of their hands! They made me so giddy while reading it.
I really enjoyed the flashbacks to their childhood and early adulthood. I feel like it added so much to the story and it was adorable!
I didn't really like the parent drama, especially how Rio's mom acted but I'll look the other way because it resolved itself in the end.
The found family in this series is one of my favorites ever!! I loved these characters so much <3
