Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

5.0

I found this book on a list of "post-apocalyptic books for adults"- while I definitely enjoy YA dystopian fiction, it was nice to have one of these books that was written in an more sophisticated style. I loved the premise of a traveling band of artists in the apocalypse, and the story kept me intrigued throughout. I think it ended about 30 pages earlier than I wanted it to- it left many questions open. Even so, I loved the writing, the thorough world-building, and the story.
