An anxiety-inducing read due to how quickly we appear to be approaching a similarly dystopian future in the US. Some parts of it are genuinely difficult to get through and I almost abandoned the book entirely about 90% of the way through.
Took away a star because I don't think the narrative benefited in any way from the author's refusal to include paragraph breaks where you'd expect them. It just made the text harder to parse.
