“Always choose empathy.”

I’ve been struggling reading this year. We adopted a lovely doggo that has been filling up my time in the best way, so it’s taking me longer to read stories.

All of that to say I always love to jump into the worlds Abby creates even if they are heavier at times. She navigates mental health with such care while maintaining the authenticity. Also can we give some major praise knowing that Abby writes her books on her phone! Go off queen!

It’s been a minute since I’ve read the other books in the part of your World Series, but this one seemed a little heavier than the others. Not saying that’s a bad thing but just the vibe I got. Also if you struggle with Emetophobia, there are at least two triggering chapters that deal with the norovirus, but they go by fast.

Anyway all of that to say Emma holding on hope for her mom broke my heart, but I’m glad she found healing she needed to find in the end.
