And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie

adventurous dark mysterious fast-paced
  • Diverse cast of characters? No

2.0

The mystery itself was extremely compelling and well-crafted. However, the constant racism (black and indigenous people were repeatedly dehumanized and there were some heavily antisemitic stereotypes) really took me out of the story and was difficult to read.
