A heartwarming coming of age sapphic book. I really enjoyed this one, Yami was such a a warm and engaging protagonist. Her and Cesar's relationship was a highlight for me, they felt really genuine, and while they had their issues, seeing them overcome them together was a joy. I did have a few nitpicks with some of the tangential character arcs. It felt like all the stuff with Jenna Bianca was leading up to something, and then it just...didn't. Additionally, while I'm glad their mom ended up being supportive, it felt kinda at odds with her earlier characterization. Still, it was a lovely quick read!
