This book is just fantastic. The writing is really wonderful, and compelling, and keeps you pushing through even at the points where the footnotes get particularly heady and lengthy. But the story shines particularly in the way Diaz tells multiple stories from various perspectives all tying to one central narrative, and you can still stick to it without your head spinning. This book gave me the full-heart, satiated mind feelings that I crave from novel. This is truly a book that everyone should read.
