Big Little Lies
by Liane Moriarty
Absolutely devoured this! I went in expecting a bit of drama and ended up completely hooked by the dark humour, layered characters, and the way the story slowly unraveled like a really juicy secret. The build-up to the “incident” had me flying through chapters desperate to know what happened.
I loved how it tackled serious topics like domestic abuse and bullying without losing its witty edge. The characters felt so real; flawed, funny, and totally believable. Madeline was my favourite, equal parts savage and heart. It’s like Desperate Housewives met a murder mystery and actually had substance.
Couldn’t put it down. Perfect mix of drama, depth, and page-turning suspense.
