Melina Marchetta can do no wrong. I loved how 90s this book was and the references to Esprit and Sportgirl that made me laugh. Although Josie felt the least mature out of all Marchetta's characters I felt she had some of the more poignant things to say. Her relationship and conversations she had with her dad was probably my favourite part of the book.
