I have so many mixed feelings about this volume. On the one hand, I love seeing Kyoko killing it at her acting and really shining, and I love the interactions with Moko. But I also hate seeing her manipulated, and I hate that she somehow thinks now that Ren is in love with this Kimiko. This is why we need open communication, people! We’ve reached the point where I can’t see it would do any harm for Ren and Kyoko to admit they love each other.
As for Ren, he freaked out less that I expected about that photo of Kyoko and Sho - I’m hoping he realizes it was a weird night, with everything she was feeling with with her mom. If Yashiro is managing both Kyoko and Ren that would put them together more conveniently for sure. Also, Hiromune said Ren was offered the role in the samurai drama first - I don’t suppose there’s any way he could take it back? 😅
I’m so bummed the next volume won’t be out in English until November! I wish the wait wasn’t so long!
