Daphne has always known exactly how long her relationships would last - she’d received a note with a set amount of time with every new romance. Up until she met Jake - he didn’t have an expiration date . 

I wasn’t sure if this was going to live up to “in five years”, but I was happily relieved to find it was wonderful. While I was expecting a completely different ending, I still found it bitter sweet. I enjoyed hearing about Daphne’s relationships throughout her life and how knowing when they’d be over affected each.
