This book was a little like chicken soup for the soul. It was just the right combination of reality with a little bit of magic thrown in (and I mean, very little). It didn’t have an in your face plot line, but I enjoyed the uncovering of family secrets and the unravelling of various people’s grief. The author writes beautifully and I happily fell into the the world of Wicklow and was a little sad to have my visit there end.
If you like stories of women finding their place in the world, small town charm and redemption, then this one might be for you.
