This was always going to be tough to follow after B&B.
It was still really fun but there were so many moments that didn’t hit the mark in the audiobook format
* the cackling laugh
* the singing/reading lyrics aloud
* the narration style for Lachlans boss just made me cringe
Otherwise, I loved the dynamics between Lachlan and Lark, and the exploration of the dark underbelly of Lark’s glittery exterior.
