The Secret World of Maggie Grey by Granger

3.0

The concept was so interesting, but fell a part for me. I found the characters fun, but then also infuriating. Like I thought they were giving found family, but then would be so uglyy. Asha was making me crazy!

There was a lot going on, which wasn't a problem for me at first. The multiple povs were an adjustment, but simple enough to not be a drawback. It was a choice to use multiple povs to give motivations and reveal the duplicity of certain characters, and not one that I think paid off towards the end.

I like Maggie's plot a lot and really wish it didn't get so mangled towards the end. Pretty much hated how everyone moved after the party. I both want to know how it ends, but unsure if I could get through the next book.

Shout-out Quan! Perfection. No notes!
