The Marriage Switch
by Aja Foxx
2 stars…
Damn… this is the third in this series and I’ve loved most the books by this author I’ve read and especially this series but this one didn’t do it for me. First of all two J names in top of another name on top of a J name twin was so confusing. Jayce being the cute little nerd with money was amazing and I like him a lot… Joe on the other hand. Eh. I didn’t love his attitude towards his brother in the last book so I was kinda not into him this book from the start and it never got better.
Let me start out by saying this whole series is very insta love vibes but usually we get slipped into it a bit more or something crazy happens that brings them together and although something crazy happened here it wasn’t the same vibe? Idk. I was like “have they said I love you” no… and they don’t say it and there the issue. Joe starts calling him “love” and they decide to stay married and they tell other people they love each other but never tell each other and I feel like we skipped the entire honey moon which was when they would have fallen in love. Just feel like we skipped all the romance in favor of this wild and frankly over the top plot and shitty family dynamics.
2/5 on spice. 1/5 on kink. 1/5 on tears. I almost DNFed this ugh!
