While this story featured my least favorite trope… the dreaded single dad, I liked the female main character well enough, and thought the relationship that she had with her family was very sweet and endearing. It was far and away, too much of a slow burn in my opinion, but the characters were most definitely, well and truly developed.
I may be alone in my feelings that the relationship between the main male character and his child’s mother was too cookie-cutter and sweet, but I would’ve enjoyed at least a little OW drama to break up the monotony and toothe-achingly sweet relationship between the two of them .
