I was soooo excited for the novella it said it was the bridge between the Ruinous Trilogy and the new Season of Carnage Trilogy but I don’t get it?

It’s a novella so it was supposed to be short but the blurb made it sound like there would be an interaction between characters or some sort of cross over but there wasn’t?

I enjoyed reading the annual game and it being men vs women but apart from that it really didn’t match what was promised :(

We saw a glimpse of Autumn but it was so fleeting no cross over or conversation or intro to the next set of characters that I know of??

Still looking forward to the next series but did not enjoy this as much as I hoped. And the titles on the chapters left me a bit confused too? 

Love the cover black and pink is always a win and seeing the characters again did make me smile!
