I'm Not Dying With You Tonight
by Gilly Segal, Kimberly Jones
medium-paced
Plot or Character Driven:
Plot
Strong character development:
No
I didn't find myself loving the characters or being totally satisfied with the end, I did want more for them all. But I think it was written really well. It felt too real.
My biggest problem is that to me the purpose of a story like this is to educate. Why are people behaving the way they are? What are our misconceptions? And there were hints of moments with Campbell.
But rather it just put us in a scary place with a scary situation and sort've relied on that over character growth or saying something meaningful.
I think it's fine just to what if l. But I would have liked more depth.
