12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos
by Jordan B. Peterson
This book was an absolutely refreshing take on modern psychology and it’s unfortunate that it was lumped into the very limiting and misrepresentative “self-help” genre. It was truly a melding of neuropsychology, clinical psychology, philosophy, theology, and politics from a classical approach that extends the great conversation and gives hope to us all that we, in fact, can change our mindset through, among many suggestions, seeking the True, Good, and Beautiful in all experiences. More proof that the well-read just have a better grasp on the human condition! Granted, it was a long book, but full of so much Truth and deep consideration that I did not regret a minute.
