This book is so important and I am so thankful that Fipps wrote this book for middle grade readers because there are so many kids who experience bullying and need this book!! The acknowledgements touches on why Fipps wrote it as middle grade and not YA and I am thankful she did!

This book has severe bullying in it which I did not expect. Again, I think it is so important because situations like the one in this book do happen, however, I would definitely read content warnings before going into this book. 

I loved that Fipps wrote this book in verse. It was a fun format and also really went with Ellie loving poetry!
