Adult Urban Romantasy set in a modern style world with creatures such as Fae, reapers, wolves, etc. Our theme is “Divide and conquer” as our favorite team of rebels go all-in to defeat the Asteri once and for all.

After the abrupt cliffhanger of book 2, I expected a lot more from this book. It felt very slap-dash and the crew we have grown to love seemed out of character for much of the book. The friendships and reactions were powerful in some scenes and reaching in others. For how long and packed full of scenes Book 3 was, it was severly lacking for this reader. Some answers were found, but a lot of open ended questions still dangling. Very much hoping there is a fourth book covering the fourth house so as to wrap everything up. Not holding by breath though.

THINGS CONSIDERED Score: 75/100
