I absolutely loved this book. John Grisham again tells a captivating story but this time he steps out of the court room.
This story follows Sooleyman, a boy from South Sudan who earns a spot to travel to America in a basketball showcase tournament. While there, a rebellion in Sudan breaks out, ending the 2 years of peace.
I liked both storylines in this book. The Sudanese rebellion, especially after reading They Poured Fire on Us from the Sky: The True Story of Three Lost Boys from Sudan this year, and i enjoyed the basketball story.
Grisham decided to write this story after March Madness being canceled and he changed history so his beloved Virginia basketball team was not the first 1 seed to be beaten by a 16 seed. haha
