I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. It wasn’t what I expected character personality-wise especially the princess. There’s swearing and romance and blood and such sass! I loved how the romance in this book developed. Ophelia's character was also super entertaining. There’s also a scene of attempted sexual assault so just FYI. This book reminded me of ‘Kill the Farm Boy’ by Delilah S Dawson. It almost seemed like a parody of a typical fairytale but I really loved it. I’m so excited to read the next book!
