How do I feel about this book…I can’t even express my emotions. I think it is truly a blessing to read it.
I highly recommend reading it. Everyone should. It is a good reminder that we are so very lucky to live freely because of the sacrifices of men and women who serve.

It makes you wonder…did POW/MIA and veterans of Vietnam EVER get the thanks that they deserve for serving their country OR the support?? Do servicemen and women get the support they need now? In our time?? I know Vietnam was not that long ago but we are slow to change when it comes with mental health and the support that is needed and actually helpful. This book has made me reflect on all veterans from all wars and the service that they have done for us and our freedom. I am so proud that this book is specifically about women in service. I can’t even begin to imagine a society that doesn’t believe you when you say you are a veteran and need help. I thank Kristin Hannah and all of the people she worked with to write this novel.
