Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn
1.0
Georgie has lost her job, which she was never even that passionate about, and lacks direction. She moves home temporarily to get back on her feet and figure out what it is that she wants for her life. She discovers a friend fiction piece that she wrote with her childhood best friend and is inspired to use it a a bucket list of sorts. She then refers to "the fic" (gag, some serious editing could've helped here) every few paragraphs and gets on everyone's nerves.
DNF at 60% I couldn't make myself read it any longer. I kept waiting for it to get better and it just never did. There was no chemistry between the two main characters. I did not agree with the synopsis at all-it was not honest, deeply emotional, smart or tender. It felt very juvenile, superficial and forced.
