Nicholas Sparks' novels just aren't for me. Contemporary romance in general isn't my cup of tea! I find them extremely boring and pointless to read! That might sound harsh, but I mean COME ON! What actually happened in this book!?
The characters weren't interesting in the slightest. I mean Natalie was such a drag! Not only was she an one dimensional character... but there was also no real spark in the relationship between Trevor and Natalie at all! There were brief moments that showed a glimpse of romance... until Natalie shut it down. I also didn't enjoyed the overall wrap up of the two plot lines. Once everything was all tied up.... all I could think of was "wow, what a waste of time!"
Honestly, the only thing I actually remembered and enjoyed during reading this was... the information about the BEES! AND THATS ONLY ONE PAGE! I'll potentially give Nicholes Sparks' books in the future... but so far this one was a N.O. for me.
