2,5/5 ° That was... underwhelming. Disappointing. There was so much promise yet so little pay-off, but I enjoyed the easy read and the setting, if a little heavy on the comparison to "stalking Jack the Ripper"... and then came the ending. Yeah. No. My appreciation for all the things I did like in this book immediately dropped away. Tossed the book down with a frustrated eye roll after the last sentence.
