I added this book to my TBR back in 2019 after I learned that it had OCD rep and I finally got around to reading it. Honestly, I'm glad that I waited so long so that I could properly prepare myself because this book is heavy.
Content Warning for: graphic violence, death, racism, OCD, and anxiety.
I'm a sucker for historical fiction that talks about events that I've never learned about and books that make me emotional, so The Weight of Our Sky just checked all of my boxes. The OCD and anxiety rep were fantastically written and although the way the main character and I deal with it is very different, it's still always wonderful to see yourself represented in a book.
