Wow. This book was absolutely amazing. I donโ€™t think I was emotionally prepared for this book because I started reading it on audio while I was at work and almost started crying ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I have never had a book hit me so hard in my privilege. As a white person, I will NEVER EVER know what itโ€™s like to be black. I will never know what itโ€™s like to be targeted by those with badges who are supposed to protect us. This book might be fiction, but it was very real with what has happened and is happening in our very real world. Doing the right thing will always be worth it, even if it seems like itโ€™s not.
