The Love Wager by Lynn Painter
3.0

Hallie is bartending at a wedding when she runs into Jack who she actually met that morning when he was buying an engagement ring for his girlfriend. But then, they break up and Hallie and Jack become besties. They decide to make a bet on who gets a serious relationship through this dating app first, however then chemistry exists between the two of them.

The plot of this book was very basic. It included fake dating, a one-bed trope, and all that. But it was a very fun, quick read, so basically, everything that you can expect from a Lynn Painter book! I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed and I would have totally read this book in one sitting if I would not have been so tired. I did get annoyed at a certain point because the chemistry between Hallie and Jack was so obvious and they both felt the same way about each other, so why not just date for real. But then I also understand that it is the trope of the book.
