Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

~ single dad
~ hockey player/ Olympic figure skater (she’s only ever on the ice 2x)
~ he falls first and hard
~ sports romance
~ insta love

The characters were likable. The story was a light easy read, but I disliked the third act conflict.

Coco is in the hospital for most of the book for a series of unfortunate events that occurred due to Logan, but also her since i would assume a pro skater would know to stay off a closed rinks ice. While in the hospital Logan woos her by being his large golden retriever self and by spoiling her with gifts and services while she’s in the hospital.

I know he’s a single dad but the kiddie is hardly mentioned or shown except during the major bits and I definitely think she deserved more book time since she was adorable and the reason the two knew each other.
Third act conflict seemed so wild, hiring her as a good luck charm and when she finds out the truth about her employment she cuts him out even though she was okay with keeping it a secret at the beginning but got mad when the roles switched.
