I loved this story, and in places, it did leave me breathless.
In this book you meet Ryan and Hannah, he was Jake from the Protector partner till they both quit, Jake to help with the new baby and Ryan went home to Hampton for a quiet life.
After virtually running Hannah over there is an immediate connection between them, but neither of them wants a relationship, Ryan wants to spend some time with his Daughter Alex while she is home from boarding school, and Hannah just wants to be on her own as she doesn't know how long she can stay there.
This book has everything, Comedy, love, suspense, mystery, and horror. You feel all the emotions with them. There are a few twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Ryan's Daughter Alex (cabbage) really makes it funny. It was nice to see Jake and Cami in it too.
Once again Jodi doesn't disappoint, great book!
