The Woman in the Window by A.J. Finn

2.0

I like Alfred Hitchcock about 10x as much as the next person. Gone Girl was great, although I liked The Girl on the Train better. Wait Until Dark is my jam. And the third movie I can remember falling in love with was Rear Window. All that said, I found this to be derivative to the point of distraction. The first (or second?) twist was a good one, but one you could see coming from a mile away. The conclusion is a bit rushed as things tend to go in this genre.

It's fine and it's entertaining and if you like stories like this one you'll probably enjoy it, but there's nothing new to see here.
