This book is simply written, it has been a long time since I have read a book with so many twists and turns and Garber does it well. She writes in a way that is easy and quick to read. I did find the characters fun, although they were quite immature and their actions seemed kind of predictable, I actually was quite surprised with how the story developed and ended.
It weirdly sits between a pre-teen and young adult book. There are some scenes that are for more mature audiences but I do think it is written for pre-teen and teen years.
